We are in need of volunteers for the following positions:

1.  Fundraising Help - This is a HUGE need right now.  If you have ANY experience, please e-mail  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.   Specifically we need folks interested in helping with the sale of Christmas cards and calendars and those interested in helping create and email out fundraisers for specific dogs.  Time estimated: Depends on activities, can be time intensive for a short period and then not at all.  It is flexible to work around someone's schedule.

2.  Volunteer List adder: this person will add applicants that check that they would like to be added to their local GSP Rescue Yahoo list to the list. Time estimated: Less than 30 minutes per work, work all on computer.

3.  Trackabeast Reminder Coordinator:  Using Trackabeast, remind adopters who's adoptees had heartworm treatment to follow up with a heartworm test after 6 months.  Time estimated: Less than 30 minutes per week, work all on computer.

4. Pet Adoption Portal Uploader - This volunteer will use the dogs loaded on Petfinder and viewable on our website already to take the same picture and bio and upload it on a different website, which allows our dogs profiles to be viewed at Adopt-A-Pet and on Facebook. Time estimated: Less than 30 minutes per week, work all on computer.

5. San Antonio Event Coordinator - This volunteer will coordinate the place and date for events in San Antonio and getting volunteers there. Time estimated: Depends on activities, can be time intensive for a short period and then not at all.  It is flexible to work around someone's schedule.

6. Houston Event Coordinator -This volunteer will coordinate the place and date for events in San Antonio and getting volunteers there.Time estimated: Depends on activities, can be time intensive for a short period and then not at all.  It is flexible to work around someone's schedule.
